1997: International Medical Products Russia is Founded

The dynamically developing markets of Russia and the countries of the CIS were chosen as other markets were not in as much need of quality, expendable, medical materials for fair prices. The industrial divisions of the company are located in Southeast Asia. A well-developed business strategy provides high quality products at competitive prices. The basis of IMP™’s future success lies in its logistical know-how, which was developed by progressive workers of the company, who guaranteed product price decreases without any detriment to their quality.

1998: START of PRODUCTION and the FIRST PRODUCT DELIVERY to RUSSIA

One year after its founding, IMP Russia released its first shipment of natural latex gloves intended for diagnostic an surgical operations. Later the company proposed to enrich the product line through infusion and transfusion systems. All of the medical products sold and developed by IMP™ were combined under the trademark DYNAX. Deliveries to Russia were conducted in partnership the company “Medicine Alba”.

2002: DYNAX LEADS the RUSSIAN MARKET

For the year 2002, DYNAX was – by volume – the leader for deliveries of sterile and non-sterile medical gloves, infusion and transfusion systems to the Russian market.

2004: OPENING of REPRESENTATION of INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL PRODUCTS In Serbia, CHANGE of the NAME and of the TRADE MARK

After DYNAX expanded it presence to Russia (product distribution extends across the whole country – from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad), a committee of directors from IMP decided to open distribution in Serbia. The developing Balkan region remains a priority in the marketing policy for International Medical Products.

The position of DYNAX as a leader in the market provoked the growth of a quantity of fake products. Many cases revealing counterfeit products in health care facilities compelled the management of IMP to change the trademark name. Now all products are distributed under the trademark IMP, an abbreviation of the name for the International Medical Products Group. In order to inform the market about the name change, an information campaign was carried out with the help of national distributors. The graphical concept for the IMP trademark reflects the basic values of the company: quality, dynamism, innovation, and leadership.

2005: SUCCESS CONTINUES - ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of LEADERSHIP

IMP™ was given a registration number by the goods manufacturer Global Company Prefix under the international EAN*UCC system. Currently all packaging of IMP products is marked with a bar code, which opens new networking opportunities with drugstores where goods are sold with the use of a special scanner. The dynamic development of IMP in Russia and the Balkans continues: in 2005 the volume of IMP™ sales in Russia in real terms increased by 17.5 percent, in comparison to 2004. There was also a 40 percent increase in sales in the former republics of Yugoslavia.

2006: BEGINNING of OFFICIAL REPRESENTATION of IMP™ COMPANIES in RUSSIAIn the beginning of 2006, ÃÍÈÂÖ ÔÒÑ, (the main scientific-information computer center of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation), released data concerning the volume of surgical glove imports from various manufacturers. According to the statistics, IMP was the leading importer – their market share for these products in 2005 was more than 35 percent.

Prompted by good results and the evident importance of the Russian market's strategic role in realizing IMP's social mission, IMP's board of directors decided to initiate the company's official representation in Russia. The primary goals of IMP Russia were as follows: the development of the trademark in the Russian market, a strengthening of communications with other large distributors, the perfection of quality control, the introduction of progressive decision-making in the logistical field, and the implementation of expert and approbation preference analysis' for the development of the products, so that they might correspond as much as possible with global medical trends and the requirements set forth by the Russian health care facilities.

It is hoped that regional representation of IMP™ companies in Russia will lead to participation in the creation of large federal distributors of the STATE ORDER, which is of great importance for the functioning and development of the Russian health care facilities. «Medicine Alba» - a large national distributor of the IMP trademark – remains a crucial partner in regional sales.

Simultaneously with organizational development, IMP Russia plans to expand its product line with the introduction of a new assortment of natural and synthetic rubber medical gloves under the series name “Improved”. There will also be expendable materials for urology, as well as a portfolio of new commodity groups.

IMP Russia representation was limited to Moscow, but would later expand to other key regions of the Federation – the Urals, Siberia, and the Northwest. This will include large regional distributors, organizers of public health services, company branch experts, and press representatives.
